She has held a number of positions in Personnel, each one a promotion from the last. She is very outgoing and always willing to help her co-workers, other employees, and supervisors. She is very diligent in processing paperwork and is willing to go the extra mile to insure timely completion of paperwork in either processing new hire paperwork, processing promotions, or allowing applicants a little extra time in filling out applications for employment. She is very conscientious about the moral of county employees and volunteered last year to be the Team Captain for Relay for Life. This involved a large number of her off-duty hours organizing events and attending meetings. She was able to cultivate a lot of participation by other county employees. This was a very good morale booster and a positive representation of county employees in the community. With her spearheading the efforts, Monroe County donated approximately $3,000 to aid in the fight against Cancer. In this era of downsizing, she has been very willing to take on added responsibility enabling Personnel to decrease by one position. She is a true asset to Monroe County.
