"Challenge Day" is a one-day workshop for students, which has proven to build self esteem and shift peer pressure to peer support. $7,500.00 This money will purchase sports equipment for the Marathon Youth Club. $7,000.00 This amount will be given to the Marathon :High School Boy and Girls soccer program to purchase uniforms and equipment. . $7,782.00 This amount will be a short term bridge loan given to Samuel's House. Florida 33070 (305) 853-3211 FAX (305) 853-3205 organization dedicated to helping women who are homeless or were involved in the criminal justice system get back on their feet. $ 5,000.00 This money will be given to the Rural Health Network to assist in purchasing an Airstream medical van. \. $5,000.00 This amount will be given to the Florida Keys Community College Theatre Department for the production of Random Acts of Shakespeare. This project will present staged scenes of violence from Shakespeare to students ages ten through eighteen. At the conclusion of each scene counselors will conduct small group discussions concerning violence and non-violence. Their goal is to lower the possibility of violence involving teenagers. TOTAL: $35.782.00 I hereby certify that these expenditures are lawful pursuant to the Florida ' Contraband Act. There will be no recurring expenses in the existing budget.
