Nelson~ C. ~ District Five BOCC MEETING - NOV. 2L 2000 As the County Attorney's office requested, I am indicating to you my reason for abstaining from voting on bulk item F.19: Approval of an Unmet-Needs request authorized by the State Emergency Management Unmet- Needs Office to install emergency generators in two Keys churches (St. Justin in Key Largo and San Pedro in Tavernier) using Unmet-Needs funds authorized by FEMA as a result of Hurricane Georges in 1998. My reason for not voting is that for the last year I have voluntarily advised St, Justin's Church on the feasibility of installing a generator on the property.
