ITEM BACKGROUND: This position became vacant when Ms. June Helbling was appointed by the
BOCC to the Tourist Development Council. Attached is the letter from the Tourist Development
Council listing the two applicants that responded to the request for applications.
PREVIOUS REVELANT BOCC ACTION:
On September 8, 1999, the Board of County Commissioners passed an Ordinance providing for the
appointment of "at large" members to the District Advisory Committee by the Board of County
Commissioners.
