We would like to present the Plan to the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) at your February meeting. The TDC believes there needs to be a written strategic plan to develop air service into the airport and would like to offer a plan that could be used as direction for the county to provide a method to accomplish this goal. The county could add or delete any information to the plan as it sees fit to help accomplish the goal we all wish to obtain - more air service into the Florida Keys Marathon Airport. The TDC has stated before to the BOCC, that there needs to be someone at County level who is responsible to implement the plan for air service development. The TDC will assist in the process with marketing funds and staffing to aid the actions, such as establishing this plan and helping achieve the objective. Thank you. P.O.
