AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval for the transfer of one buildable lot from M & S Key Largo Construction
to Monroe County by Warranty Deed.
ITEM BACKGROUND: On February 7, 2001 the Planning Commission approved an allocation award for the
applicant listed below provided the applicant's Warranty Deed is approved by the BOCC. M & S Key Largo
Constuction submitted the Warranty Deed to donate one lot to Monroe County. The applicant receiving a dwelling
unit allocation award for the year ending July 13,2001, has filed the document in accordance with Ordinance No.
47-1999.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOARD ACTION: On November 11, 1999, the BOCC adopted Ordinance No. 047-
1999.

This Warranty Deed made this _day of October, 2000 between Dean Parkinson, a single man whose post office
address is Box 1937, Key Largo, Florida 33037, grantor, and The County of Monroe, a political subdivision of the State
of Florida whose post office address is do Board of County Commissioners, 500 Whitehead Street, Key West, Florida
33040, grantee:
(Whenever used herein the terms "grantor" and "grantee" include all the panies to this instrument and the heirs, legal represenlatives, and assigns of
individuals. and the successors and assigns of corporations. trusts and trustees)
Witnesseth, that said grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($10.00) and other
good and valuable considerations to said grantor in hand paid by said grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
has granted, bargained, and sold to the said grantee, and grantee's heirs and assigns forever, the following described land,

To Have and to Hold, the same in fee simple forever.
And the grantor hereby covenants with said grantee that the grantor is lawfully seized of said land in fee simple; that the

land and will defend the same against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever; and that said land is free of all
encumbrances, except taxes accruing subsequent to the date of transfer.
