AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval of the appointment of Michael Lannon to the Health

ITEM BACKGROUND: Michael Lannon will be replacing Frank Courtney in the category of
Purchaser. Mr. Courtney has reached his term limit. The Board opening was advertised in accordance
with Article III, Section I of the Health Council of South Florida Bylaws.

The Health Council of South Florida (HCSF) Inc. is submitting the
enclosed application for consideration for appointment to the Board
of Directors in the placement category of Purchaser. The Board
member who held this seat, Frank Courtney, reached his term limit on
June 30, 2000.
If possible, we would like to have Mr. Lannon's application submitted
to the Commissioners for appointment at the next County
