Responsibilities include representation of the Health Department at County and Statewide Meetings, and legal analysis of a wide variety of issues affecting Department operations. NIMS trained and certified as Logistic Section Chief. 2005 to 2008 Trial Court Administrator, performed and supervised the administrative functions of the 16tn Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida. The Trial Court Administrator is the highest administrative officer in the 16t" Judicial Circuit, which encompasses all of Monroe County. During this time, I served as a General Magistrate in Family, Circuit Civil, Juvenile, and Mental Health cases. Pioneered the Pro Se Litigant Program from 1996-99. Developed protocols for handling Domestic Violence cases; developed Pilot Visitation Mediation Program; developed and implemented the Dependency Mediation Project; served as liaison for the Dependency Court Improvement Program; served as a Family Court and Mental Health Court Magistrate and provided oversight for Family Court Special Masters. 1992 to 1995 Director, 161" Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program, with administrative responsibility for daily supervision of case coordinators, staff counsel, and clerical staff. Handled criminal defense matters, both on the misdemeanor and felony level, and served as court appointed counsel for parents in Dependency cases. 1983 to 1988 Staff Attorney, Wisconsin State Public Defender, Milwaukee Trial Division. Handled extensive caseload of felony and misdemeanor cases with strong emphasis in pre-trial and trial litigation. Supervised student interns in clinical program.
