As a reminder, your agencies are under contract to do to reflect the need for additional service dollars in PSA 11. If you need a reminder as to how to waitlist in CIRTS by service (in the Program Status field, hold the "Ctrl" and "Page Down" keys simultaneously and a pop up window will appear), please contact me for additional instructions. Periodically, DOEA runs the "APCL wait lists reports" by service/by PSA to determine additional funding needs in the various PSAs. Regards, Sasha >>> Sasha Munoz 4/2/2013 11:46 AM >>> Good morning to everyone. Hope everyone is well. In follow-up to the communication regarding the OAA sequestration cuts, this is a friendly reminder that your feed back to the AAA regarding how the final OAA cuts will be applied by title/service is due by the COB on Friday 4/5/2013. As stated below "...the Provider must submit feedback as to how the reduction should be applied, by title, and must include the service or services and dollar amount by service. The cuts applied must not totally eliminate an OAA service. Please provide a justification as to why you are proposing that service and what alternate funding do you have, if any, to address the reduction." If you have any questions, please let me know before the deadline. Regards, Sasha >>> Barbara Suarez 3/27/2013 5:13 PM >>> CORRECTION: NSIP also a funding reduction. The percentage of reduction for NSIP contracts will be 3.14% for each Provider. The final cuts received from the Department were higher than those previously anticipated for some titles. Due to some adjustments made by the Alliance, the actual cuts by title applied to your contract will be less than the cuts received from the Department. This was done in an effort to reduce the number of displaced clients. The following is a breakdown of the final cuts, by title, that you will see reflected in your contract amendments for those Providers currently serving clients under the 2013 OAA contract. Final cuts: Title IIIB: 3.610% Title Cl: 9.883% Title C2: 1.578% Title IIIE: 7.919% All Providers serving clients for the 2013 OAA contract year will be applied the same percentage of reduction across the board for each title. These cuts are permanent, until further notice from DOEA. In addition, effective today, the AAA is lifting the enrollment freeze imposed on March 7, 2013. However, each Provider must manage it's allocation accordingly in order to ensure the least displacement possible. A separate email will be sent to each Provider informing them of the exact reduction by title. We are asking each Provider submit feedback as to how the reduction should be applied, by title, and must include the service or services and dollar amount by service. The cuts applied must not totally eliminate an OAA service. Please provide a justification as to why you are proposing that service and what alternate funding do you have, if any, to address the reduction. Please respond directly to your Contract Manager by COB, April 5th, 2013. Please contact your Contract Manager if you have any questions.
