ITEM BACKGROUND: The Mosquito Control is desiring to acquire said road for ~pcration ofthcir
heUcopter. The road is cWTeDtly blooked and does not serve any purpose. The MOSq1Uto Comrol
recently purchased all adjacent land which is predominately wetlands. The road WIIS built in the late
1960's when the State was encouraging devolopment.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THIS INDENTURE, made the day of . 2001, by Monroe
County, Florida, whose address is 302 Fleming Street, Key West, Florida, hereinafter
referred to as "Grantor," and The Florida Keys Mosquito Control District, an independent
special taxing district, whose address is 5224 College Road, Stock Island, Key West,
Florida, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee" (wherever used herein the terms "Grantor"
and "Grantee," include all the parties to this instrument, and the heirs, legal
representatives and assigns of individuals, and the successors and assigns of said parties).
WITNESSETH: That the Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum ofTen and
00/100 Dollars ($10.00), and other good and valuable consideration, receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, hereby remise, release and Quit-Claim unto the Grantee and the
Grantee's heirs and assigns, all right, title, interest, claim and demand which the said
Grantor has in and to the following described property, the following described land
situate, lying and bei ng in Monroe County, Florida, to wit:
A 50 foot strip of land in a part of Section 25, Township 60 South, range 39
East, Cross Key, Monroe County, lying 25 feet each side of a centerline
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the westerly end of the bridge abutment
of the Jewfish Creek Bridge with the centerline of State Road 5, run
northwesterly a distance of 1340 feet on said centerline of State Road 5 to a
point; thence N 37038'00" E a distance of500 feet on the baseline of survey
according to the Right of Way Map of Section 90506-2601 to the POINT
OF BEGINNING and the beginning of a curve to the left; thence northerly
on said curve (concave to the westerly) having a central angle of27008'00"
and a radius of207.2 feet, a distance of98.12 feet to the end of said curve;
thence N 10030'00" E a distance of 675 feet to the beginning of a curve to
the right; thence northerly on said curve (concave to the easterly) having a
central angle of3030'00" and a radius of5929.65 feet, a distance of362.22
