At the January 17, 2002, Board of County Commissioner's meeting the Board granted
approval and authorized execution of an Addendum to Agreement between Monroe County and
Islamorada, Village of Islands allowing for the addition of beach cleaning and maintenance
services for Annes' Beach and Library Beach with a monetary increase of $10,200, DAC IV, FY
2002 Capital Resources.
At the February 14, 2002, Board of County Commissioner's meeting the Board granted
approval and authorized execution of the following Amendments to Agreement between Monroe
County and Islamorada, Village ofIslands:
Allowing for an extension to Agreement for the Library Beach Project in an amount not to
exceed $22,500, DAC IV Capital Resources.
Allowing for an extension to Agreement for the Hurricane Monument Improvement
Project i~n amount not to exceed $49,378, DAC IV Capital Resources.
/Allowing for an extension to Agreement for Anne's Beach Project in an amount not to
exceed $124,500, DAC IV Capital Resources.
Enclosed are two duplicate originals of each of the above mentioned for your handling.

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT

~HIS ADDENDUM to agreement is made and entered into this -1.!1::- day of
2002, between the County of Monroe and THE ISLAMORADA VILLAGE OF
ISL OS.
WHEREAS, there was a contract entered into on May 18, 2000, between the
parties, awarding $124,500 to The Islamorada Village of Islands, and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to extend the contract for an additional
period to allow time for The Islamorada Village of Islands to complete the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein
the parties agree to the amended agreement as follows:
2002.
1. Contract period as outlined in Paragraph 1 be extended to October 30,
2. The remaining provisions of the contract dated May 18, 2000, remain in
full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have set their hands and seal on the day
and year first above written.
