OMB/Purchasing 0 Risk Management 0 DIVISION DIRECTOR APPROVAL~ ~HENDRICK DOCUMENTATION: Included 0 " To Follow 0 Not Required 0 AGENDA ITEM # 0,' to AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT Village of Islands EMS Vehicles and Equipment THIS IS AN AMENDMENT to an interlocal agreement (original agreement) entered into by and between Monroe County, (County) a political subdivision of the State of Florida, whose address is Gato Building, 1100 Simonton Street, Key West, FL 33040 and Islamorada, Village of Islands. (Village) a municipal corporation, whose address is Islamorada, Village of Islands, P.O. Box 568, Islamorada, FL 33036. A copy of the original agreement is attached to this amendment and made a part of it. >I WHEREAS, the County desires to pay the Village fOr EMS vehicles and equipment for which a contract for purchase was. entered into prior to the effective date of the original agreement, (which was October 25, 2001); now, therefore IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises and covenants set forth below, the parties agree as follows: 1. Paragraph 3 of the original agreement is amended to read: 3. This interlocal agreement will take effect on the signature date of the last party to execute it. An original of this interlocal agreement must be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court and the Clerk of the Village. Provided, however, that notwithstanding the effective date established in this paragraph, the County will pay the purchase price of EMS vehicles or equipment, subject to the limitations set forth in paragraph 1 of the original agreement, so long as the contract for purchase was entered into by the Village on or after July 1, 1999. 2. In all other respects the terms and conditions of the original agreement remain in full force and effect. 3. This amendment will take effect on the signature date of the last party to execute it.
