Effective October 1,2001, the Government entered into a holdover tenancy, to be continued until execution of a new lease for space. The Government's tenancy shall be month-to-month, with all terms and conditions continuing in full force and effect, including rental payments due. Rent in the amount of$45,031.1O per annum shall be paid monthly, in arrears, at the rate of$3,752.59, until holdover ceases and new rental terms become effective. The Government will then commence paying the negotiated rental amount contained in the new lease. If you wish to continue to occupy this space. I believe we should begin putting together a renewal agreement in the near future. Per the Airport Rates & Charges StUdy. as approved by the Board of County Commissioners, the rental rate for the Weather Service space in the FIS Building will be $26.00 per square foot per year.
