The tentative rate will increase by $6 per year to $413 per household/unit (1.4% CPI change). ITEM BACKGROUND: The resolution sets the tentative residential solid waste, collection service rates for the upcoming Fiscal Year 2022. The proposed rate is $413 per household/unit an increase of$6.00 /year. The total rate is proposed to increase from $407 to $413 (CPI adjustment of 1.4% rounded to the nearest whole dollar), which includes for the residential collection portion of the rate to increase from $196.40 to $199.29; the residential disposal portion from $157.95 to $160.28, and the residential recycle portion from $52.65 to $53.43.
