20 YEARS OF SERVICE AWARD
SANDRA MOLINA
Sandy Molina began her career with Monroe County on January 28, 1982. At that time, she was
hired as an Administrative Secretary with the Municipal Service District (Solid Waste
Department), under Mr. Charles Aguero. On October 1, 1988, she was promoted to an Assistant
Office Manager.
On November 5,1990, she was again promoted to a Sr. Staff Assistant in the Community Services
Division under Mr. Peter Horton. She is now an Executive Assistant in the Community Services
Division for Jim Malloch.
During her 20 years with Monroe County, she has given much of her time to many committees.
These committees include the Employee Relations Committee, the KWIA Ad Hoc Committee on
Noise, the Safety Accident Review Board, the Safety Committee for the Community Services
Division, the Personnel Policies and Review Board, and is the only member of the Employee
Grievance Council that has served since its inception in 1987.
When Mr. Jim Malloch was hired as the Division Director for Community Services Division, he
also brought with him the position of Project Manager, and many different projects he was
working on. This was very challenging, but at the same time, very rewarding for her career with
Monroe County. Sandy is an excellent 20 year career service employee who has contributed
greatly to Monroe County and its citizens.
