Systems & Equipment Co. in the amount of $265,867.00 for the Key West International Airport
under Florida Sheriff's Association Bid FSA20-EQU18.0; the sweeper will be paid from FDOT
Essential Airport Equipment Grant GOE47 (50%) and the Key West Airport Operating Fund 404
(50%).
ITEM BACKGROUND: The sweeper will replace the Airport's current Tymco Sweeper that has
reached its useful life. The sweeper is primarily used to sweep the runway, taxiways and aprons.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: Ratification and approval of EYW Essential Airport
Equipment FDOT Grant GOE47 on December 16, 2016, Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement
(SJPA) 41 on November 20, 2018, SJPA 42 on April 17,2019, and SJPA 43 on January 22, 2020.
