The property had an expired ROGO allocation that was returned for use as administrative relief. The tax deed granting Monroe County ownership was recorded on January 14, 2021. The Monroe County Tax Collector notified the County that $2,237.64 remained due and owing for the 2019 and 2020 property taxes (i.e. taxes incurred prior to the County taking ownership but not included in the purchase of the tax deed). The Monroe County Tax Collector confirmed that no new taxes will be assessed against the County.
