AUL+IVUA IIENI WO"ING:
Approval of an interagency agreement between Monroe County and the Florida Marine Research Institute to
produce Boater's Guides for the Middle and Lower Florida Keys.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
The County completed a Boater's Guide for the Upper Keys a little over a year ago. Staff, working with the
Florida Marine Research Institute (FMRI), planned to complete two additional Boater's Guides for the middle
and lower Keys. Funds were set aside in the Fund 148 stabilization budget for this project. With pressing
commitments relating to wastewater staff feels that it is best to fund this project from the Boating Improvement
Fund instead at this time. The total project cost to FMRI is $9,100.
