Proposal for Artwork for Mariners Hospital Renovations
Plantation Key, Monroe Co. Florida
Prooosal for I. The West Conference Room
Two large painted panaramic vistas of the Plantation Key area, oil on canvas approximately
four by eight ft. or four by ten ft. One on the west wall, one on the north wall. The paintings
could be slightly wider and or longer depending on budget as well as ceiling and furniture
heights. (For image reference, please refer to slides a. enclosed with this proposal and b.
slides submitted in original application and in your possession).
Cost is approximately $2.00 per sq.in. This is inclusive of all other costs, Labor, Travel,
Transportation, Installation, etc. A 4'x8' painting would be $ 9200, a 4'x1 0' piece would be
$11500. Uving on Plantation Key, this project is of personal interest to me and I'd be willing
to discount my normal fee slightly to work with your budget.
Proposal for II. Interior Corridor
I have two propOsals for this area. Smaller more intimate work would be necessary.
A. Originals
Ten to Twelve pieces approx. 8"x10" (framed/matted 14"x16") would work well.
These could be original pastel/mixed media pieces at approx. $500 each.
Small Oil Paintings at approx.$750. to $1000. each. And or a mix of Oils and Pastels
would work well.
B. Prints
I also have Giclee Prints of my work available in all sizes, the smaller pieces 8"x1 0" image,
14"x16" with a frame and mat are around $120. Ten to Twelve pieces only $1200. to
$1450. There would be a small installation fee $200.
CD of prints enclosed.
Addressing the "Criteria for Monroe Co. Fl.. Art in Public Places"
A. My work is of exceptional quality. It is exhibited in Museums throughout the South. It
has been purchased through Art in Public Places in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
B. and C. I love the Keys. I live on Plantaion Key and paint seascapes and landscapes of
the local environment. I own and operate an Art Gallery on Plantation Key which
exclusively features my work. I moved to the Keys because of the exceptional beauty,
color and light of the area, I have a definite "Keys Connection".
Note: Please return any materials not selected.
