In that short time she has distinguished herself in many ways. Among these are volunteering for overtime to cover critical staffing shortages. She does this despite her hectic schedule as a mom, home schooling three teenagers! Had Nancy not been willing to put in extra hours, Bayshore Manor would not have met the statutory requirement for required staffing hours. Nancy goes above and beyond the requirements of her job description. She has created daily activity boards for the residents. She decorates them with whimsical drawings, which makes the residents interested in them. In addition, she has volunteered to coordinate time schedules for attendants. Nancy has considerable experience working with elders with Alzheimer's disease and readily shares this information worth staff. She always actively participates in our client care discussions at staff meetings. Nancy embodies the characteristics of the ideal County employee. She is hard working, capable and willing to go the extra mile. She is a wonderful asset to the elders served by Monroe County through Bayshore Manor 1
