Rice Vice -Chairman Marathon Harry E. Cronin Secretary/TreasL Key Largo Elena Z. Herrera Rockland Key Rose Dell Big Pine Key James C. Reynol, 29ExM"T Directc Development of new facilities at the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) Pump Station Site at Southard and Thomas Streets has brought to our attention several items to be addressed. A site plan is attached with corresponding numbers marked as follows: 1. Concrete walkway is constructed in an area where security fencing is to be placed. If this walk is required - it should be relocated. 2. Three (2) site light standards are placed within areas to be secured and will prevent maintenance of the light standards. They need to be relocated. 3. An electrical feed leaves the overhead County emergency generator building crossing FKAA property. This feed needs to be relocated as it prevents maintenance of nearby structures. 4. FKAA and the County share a mahogany tree at the property line. This tree's root system will seriously impact underground piping and structures vital to the dependable water services to the City of Key West. We would like to agree to remove this tree. We would be willing to assist in designing replacement plantings for your installation. 5. As we had indicated previously, we plan to use our property where the County trailer currently sits for a construction staging area and future additional employee parking. Mr. J. Roberts October 29, 2003 Page 2 6. We would like to coordinate our building schedule and staging of materials delivery to impact your employee parking as little as possible. We will be happy to meet with whomever has the authority to facilitate these decisions at a time in the immediate future that is convenient. Sincerely, FLORIDA KEYS AQUEDUCT AUTHORITY Michael G.
