ITEM BACKGROUND: It is necessary for the County to maintain a small solid waste
fleet to deal with the problem of illegal dumping, and to maintain the transfer station
property and the closed landfills in accordance with Department of Environmental
Protection regulations.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: Approval to use impact fees for the above
named purchases on 3/17/04.
