sponsored air show activities on Nov. 4th, 5th, 6th, and ih.
ITEM BACKGROUND: The vast majority of the cost of the events will be paid for by the Navy, however approximately
$60,000.00 in additional support infrastructure (tents, trash barrels, porti-potties, fencing, seating, etc.) will be needed to
insure that that the event can take place and remain free to the public. We have not had an airshow in Monroe County
since 1988. We feel that it is appropriate that our airport help by funding some of the infrastructure expenditures.
