Page 5 (C21) BUDGET AND FINANCE: Approval of interlocal agreements with five
municipalities within Monroe County (I. City of Key West: 2. Village of
Islamorada; 3. City of Marathon: 4. City of Layton: 5. Key Colony Beach)
for Public Health and Safety Costs incurred as a result of COVID-19
related response, mitigation and recovery efforts, and CARES Act program
implementation compliance cost reimbursement: and authorization for
County Administrator to enter into similar interlocal agreements for
response. mitigation and recovery efforts funded as soon as possible to
expend CARES Act funds before the deadline date of December 30, 2020.
REVISED BACKUP: Replaced Village of Islamorada Agreement with
revised version changing the amount on page 7 from $300,000 to$800,000.
Replaced City of Layton Agreement with revised version changing the
amount on page 7 from $100.000 to $10,000. Replaced City of Marathon
Agreement with revised version changing the amount on page 7 from
$450.000 to $800,000.
Page 5 (C24) FACILITIES MAINTENANCE: Approval of a First Amendment to the
Social Services Shopping Center Lease Agreement with KIR Key Largo
022. LLC, at the Tradewinds site in Key Largo as to new notice addresses
for the Landlord and County. add a new address for rental payments, and
delete a management fee. ADDED BACKUP: Added signed First
Amendment to Backup documents.
Page 6 (DI) PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES: Approval of a
Grant Agreement ("Agreement") between the Florida Fish and Wildlife
Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Monroe County, providing
/ $1.300.000 for a marine debris cleanup project along shorelines and
nearshore waters affected by Hurricane Irma. REVISED DOCUMENTS,
ITEM BACKGROUND: Updated language noting changes since the item
was tabled at the November BOCC Meeting, and revising documents to
include changes made by the FWC. Adding one new document, an REP
Packet.
Page 6 (D7) PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Approval of a contract with Blue Native
Landscape & Irrigation to replace the turf on the baseball fields at Harry
Harris Park at a cost of $175,307 and approval for the Mayor to sign the
contract after it is reviewed and approved by TDEM/FRMA-and the County
Attorney's office. REVISED AGENDA ITEM WORDING AND ADDED
BACKUP: Removed requirement of FDEM/FEMA approval prior to being
processed by the County Clerk's office. Added Blue Native Landscape &
Irrigation as contractor, and updated cost. Added bid tabulation sheet to
backup.
