Oualifications and Reasons for Wanting to Serve on the DAC
I have been a homeowner and resident of Key West for over 10 years. For most of that
time, my consulting business kept me out of town for extended periods. I have recently
reduced my business obligations and would like to contribute some of my time, skills and
experience to the community.
Many of the facets ofHfe in Key West, that drew my wife and I to the city, are the direct or
indirect outgrowth of tourism. The ongoing debates about the shape and benefits of Key
West tourism have the potential to significantly alter the community. DAC membership
would allow me to use my business experience, communications skills and local
involvements to support both the perception and reality of the value of tourism to Key
West.
