WHEREAS, certain adviSory bodies have the r-esponsibility of reviewing applications for Board of County Commissioners funding of services and projects, induding, but not limited to, capital prOjects for tourist-related projects owned and operated by not-for-profit and governmental entities, and human services provided by not-for-profit organizations, and; WHEREAS, one advisory board has recently applied a percentage formula resulting In funding some entities In excess of the funding requested while decreasing the funding needed by other entities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, THAT: 1. AdviSory boards providing recommendatiOns on funding to the Board Of County Commissioners Of Monroe County or to any other advisory board shall be limited to recommending allocations which do not exceed the amounts requested by the applicants. 2. herein.
