AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval for the transfer of one buildable lot from Wayne H. & Barbara Brown to
Monroe County by Warranty Deed.
ITEM BACKGROUND: On July 21, 2004 the Planning Commission approved an allocation award for the
applicants listed below provided the applicants' Warranty Deed is approved by the BOCC. Wayne H. & Barbara
Brown submitted the Warranty Deed to donate one lot to Monroe County. The applicants are receiving a dwelling
unit allocation award for the year ending July 13,2004, have filed the document in accordance with Ordinance No.
47-1999.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOARD ACTION: On November 11,1999, the BOCC adopted Ordinance No. 047-
1999.

County Commissioners, 500 Whitehead Street, Key West, Florida 33040, of the County of MONROE, State of
Florida, Grantee.
WITNESSETH, that the said Grantor for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND NO/lOO'S ($10.00) Dollars
and other good and valuable considerations to said Grantor in hand paid by said Grantee, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold to the Grantee and Grantee's heirs and assigns forever the
following described land situate, lying and being in MONROE county, State of Florida, to wit:
Lot 11, in Block 9, of KOEHN'S SUBDIVISION, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 3, at
Page 83, of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida.
TOGETHER, with all the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise

AND, the grantors hereby covenant with said grantees that the grantors are lawfully seized of said land in fee
simple; that the grantors have good right and lawful authority to sell and convey said land, and hereby warrant the
title to said land and will defend the same against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever; and that said land is
free of all encumbrances, except taxes accruing subsequent to date of transfer.
