ADDENDUM TO
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA AND THE STATE OF FLORIDA. OFFICE
OF THE PUBLIC DEFENDER FOR THE SIXTEENTH JUDICIAL CIRCIDT
OF FLORIDA TO REIMBURSE THE STATE FOR THE COST OF PUBLIC
DEFENDER REPRESENTATION OF INDIGENT DEFENDANTS IN
CERTAIN CRIMINAL VIOLATIONS OF THE MONROE COUNTY CODE
WHEREAS, an Agreement was entered into on November 17, 2004 by and between the
Board of County Commissioners, Monroe County, Florida, a political subdivision of the State of
Florida., and the Office of tbe Public Defender for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, for
the representation of indigent defendants in county ordinance violations for the period of July I,
2004 thru June 30, 2005; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to provide an exemption from service charge; now tberefore;
The Parties agree as follows:
1), Paragraph 4, shall be amended by adding:
"There shall be an exemption from the 7% service charge to General
Revenue from the proceeds of this agreement to be effective for the
term of the approved agreement."
2). All other provisions of the agreement dated November 17,2004,
not inconsistent herewith, shall remain in full force and effect.
