ITEM BACKGROUND:
At the March 16, 2005, DOCe meeting} discussion was held concerning the potential purchase of
property to be leased to habitat for office space & retail sales, and for the establishment of a multiple
unit housing complex.

March 16,2005, direction to County Attorney to proceed \lvith appraisal, due diligence and proposed
contract.. County to obtain two appraisals which, if approved at 5/18/05 meeting,. win be obtained from
Calloway & Price, Inc. and Quinlivan Appraisal, P.A

ADDENDUM TO
AGREEMENT FOR SALE AND PURCHASE
THIS ADDENDUM is made this _ day of , 2005, between GREGORY and
DIANA PARDO as "Sellers" whose address is 122 Bahama Road, Key Largo, Florida 33037,
and the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
a political subdivision of the State of Florida, as "Purchase", c/o Thomas Willi, County
Administrator, 1100 Simonton Street, Room 2-205, Key West, Florida 33040.
It is hereby agreed and understood that the property which the Sellers agree to sell and the
Purchaser agrees to buy described as, Lot IB, Block 3 of Harbor Shores Subdivision as
recorded in Monroe County Plat Book 3 Page 68, RE No. 00522220-000000, includes an
approximate 2,500 square foot building in "AS IS" condition with the exception of the following
items being completed and paid for by the Sellers:
· Four (4) 2-Ton, 12 S.E.E.R. Split air conditioning systems with heat, stands, and 5
thermostats including the installation of the refrigeration lines and condensate drain lines. All
supply grilles and Class "B" fIre dampers included.
· Install asphalt with a compacted thickness of one and one half (I W') using Type SIll Hot
Asphalt, asphalt markings, ten (10) car stops, and one (1) Handi-cap stall with signage.
· Install and complete plumbing connections and fIxtures including Handi-cap Bars in both
bathrooms.
. Base paint all closets and bathrooms including bathroom floors.
· Complete electrical connections, outlets, switches, and capped ceiling light connections
(Keyless light fIxtures in bathrooms).
. Clean and grade property.
