YEARS OF SERVICE AWARD
to
GARY STRAIT
Gary Strait, Building Maintenance Specialist, Correction Facilities,
Public Works Division, has been employed by Monroe County since
June 25, 1990.
Mr. Strait first began his employment with the County as a
Maintenance Worker. Less than two years later he was promoted to
Maintenance Mechanic, and in 1994 he was promoted to his current
position as a Building Maintenance Specialist.
During his tenure with the County, Gary has proven to be a very
valuable member of the staff. He is currently assigned to the new
Roth Building, where he continues to prove his knowledge, skills and
abilities. His official personnel file is filled with letters of appreciation
for his excellent work, including a Certificate of Appreciation for
Outstanding Service from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Gary is a self-motivated, multi-talented and dedicated employee.
He is one of few employees who have been Employee of the Month
more than once; in May of 1992, and again in September of 1995.
Mr. Strait is an outstanding worker and a very dedicated
employee; he is an asset to Public Works and Monroe County, and we
are extremely proud to recognize him for his 15+ years of service.
