ITEM BACKGROUND: These vehicles are assigned to the Social Services Transportation Program and have been set aside to declare as surplus property due to the age of the bus, high mileage and high maintenance costs, and they have been replaced with new buses. The donation of these buses to Habitat for Humanity will enable them to serve the Lower Keys in transporting workers and volunteers to various Habitat worksites. Vehicle number 1915 is a 1996 Ford/Eldorado Aeorlite 20ST Bus and vehicle number 1927 is a 1998 Ford/Aerolite 20ST Bus and they each have a current estimated value of under $5,000.
