This Task Order is entered into on the effective date noted above pursuant to the "Master
Agreement for Professional Services" between Monroe County, Florida("Client") and JACOBS
PROJECT MANAGEMENT CO. ("Consultant"), dated February 15, 2017 ("Agreement"). The
Agreement is incorporated herein and forms an integral part of this Task Order.

SCOPE OF WORK
This task is a supplemental to existing PSO 12/15—89. Jacobs will provide structural and
electrical engineering documents for the replacement of five(5)concrete light poles for the GA
apron. The scope also includes construction support services. These improvements will be
located at the Florida Keys Marathon International Airport in Marathon,Florida.All design work
shall be designed in accordance with the Florida Building Code 2020.
EXISTING CONDITIONS
The five(5)existing concrete lighting poles have deterioration and spalling requiring their
replacement. The existing light fixtures,antenna,camera,pull box are to be removed and
reinstalled on new poles.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The data collection and design,will provide the following:
Article A—Data Collection
Field Verification: Visit and inspect the site (1 visit) to determine the existing conditions. Take
photographs and make written documentation, sketches, notes or reports to confirm and record
the general conditions of the existing light poles. Within this initial phase we will also review the
Master Utility Plan dated March 16, 2010.
Services for Article A will be provided under a lump sum basis.
Article B—100%Design
The specific tasks Jacobs will perform are as follows:
Jacobs shall prepare the Construction Documents sheet setting forth the requirements for the
construction of this scope of work. During this work phase, we will prepare the required
construction documents for permit and construction. This work effort will include structural
notes and electrical plan.
Services for Article B will be provided under a lump sum basis.
Article D—Construction Support Services
The specific tasks Jacobs will perform are as follows:

Jacobs will review shop drawings submitted by the contractors and all materials used in the
construction of the project. Assume one (1) shop drawing throughout the course of the scope of
work. Jacobs will coordinate with the owner and the contractor during construction.
Services for Article B will be provided under a lump sum basis.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSUMPTIONS
For the purpose of providing a stipulated fee amount, this proposal has been based on the
following qualifications and assumptions:
• Permit issuance related work such as processing plans through City, County,
and/or State agencies, other than plan revisions requested by such agencies, are
not included.
• Government Agency cost for all building and engineering permit fees are not
included in this proposal.
• Structural engineering is limited to design criteria and requirements for the pole
manufacturers specialty engineering.
• Construction administration services required by lending institutions and/or
prospective tenants in this project are not a part of our services in this phase.
• Preparation of close-out/warranty documents coordination is not included.
• Life Cycle Cost Analysis is not included.
• The testing scope of services along with the construction testing is by others.
• Lightning protection will not be provided.
• Architect/Engineer construction inspections are not included. Inspection services
for building/permitting inspections is not in our scope(no inspectors on staff),
none are anticipated by the architect/engineer.
• Proposal is based on the existing electrical systems having adequate capacity to
properly serve the renovation.No major modifications to the existing electrical
systems are included in this proposal.
• Attendance and/or presentation to public hearings and/or other meetings with
municipal agencies are not included.
• Municipal Agency and all associated permit fees are to be paid by the client.
Jacobs is not responsible for obtaining any permits. Permits are to be obtained by
the contractor. Jacobs will monitor the contractor's progress through the permit
process for the client and provide follow up periodically with the permitting
agency to verify the status,but it is ultimately the responsibility of the contractor
to obtain all permits.
• Services do not include"design to cost". Jacobs will assist the owner in
evaluating and offering cost reduction strategies as requested by client. The
"design to cost"is basically noting that if Jacobs receives direction from the
client or one of its sub-consultants on how to design the project and if any
changes are required due to the project being over budget,then the re-design
required to bring the project back within budget is not a part of the lump sum fee
and shall be treated as additional services.
• Other services not described in the scope of work.
Items identified as not included or limited in the scope of services can be provided or
expanded upon as additional services under a separate agreement or supplemental to this
agreement.

The client will need to provide the following documentation to Jacobs before commencing with
our scope of work.
