AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Discussion and approval of the Board of County Commissioners
monthly meeting dates for 2022.
ITEM BACKGROUND: It is time for the Board to schedule its monthly meetings for 2022. Under
Section 1.01(a) of the Board's Administrative Procedures, the "Commission shall hold regular
meetings, usually on Wednesday and immediately following Thursday each month, at time(s) and
location determined by motion of the County Commission." In election years, the Board meets on
the Third Tuesday of the month, the first day of the new terms of office for those commissioners
elected per F.S. 100.041.
Attached is the proposed 2022 meeting schedule along with the 2022 impacting events for
consideration by the Board.
