AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to negotiate for professional services for the engineering,
design, surveys, permitting, procurement, and CEI services for up to 10 canal restoration projects
listed in the Monroe County Canal Work Plan.
ITEM BACKGROUND: This item approves entering negotiations in rank order with the firms
responding to the Request for Proposals (RFP) issued seeking proposals to design, permit, survey,
procure, conduct outreach and construction administration services for up to ten (10) canal
restoration construction projects contained in the County's new Canal Work Plan.
The Request For Proposals was issued September 30, 2021 and opened on November 17, 2021. The
following firms submitted a proposal:
• CPH, Inc.
• Wood Environmental Solutions, Inc.
The selection committee met on November 24, 2021. The ranked list of proposers is attached as
backup to this item.
