Attached is proposed Change Order#4 for the Rockland Key Temporary Monroe County Fleet Garage
Build Out project. This change order increases the final contract sum by $3,163.86. The substantial
completion date is unchanged.
Monroe County Ordinance 027-1998 and subsequent amendments provide authority for the
Administrator to approve change orders within specified limits after providing Board of County
Commissioners with at least 24 hours to review them and pose any questions or objections that they may
have.
It is the Administrator's intent to approve the attached change order under that authority on Friday,
February 4, 2022.

On 01/26/2022 we received an email from Mr. Michael DeAngelis requesting a proposal to
repair some additional concrete spalling over the bay doors for he above referenced project.
Therefore, this PCO includes the following concrete spalling repairs:
• Remove spall ed and damaged concrete including any severely corroded rebar above
the bay doors that were observed needing repairs.
• Cut existing concrete as required.
• Treat existing rebar for rust and corrosion as required and install and additional rebar as
required.
• Place concrete over areas where concrete has been removed to restore structure to
original condition.
• This proposal is based on 7.0 cubic feet o repair mortar. This number is subject to
final field measure. Cost will be adjusted at unit cost of$425 per cubic feet if a significant
difference occurs in quantities occur. We will notify Monroe County if it appears the
quantities
• Excludes stucco and painting.
