This change order increases the final contract sum by $4,920.90. The substantial completion date is increased by 3 days. Monroe County Ordinance 027-1998 and subsequent amendments provide authority for the Administrator to approve change orders within specified limits after providing Board of County Commissioners with at least 24 hours to review them and pose any questions or objections that they may have. It is the Administrator's intent to approve the attached change order under that authority on Wednesday, November 16, 2021. This Change Order 1 extends Louise St. to sta. 808+37.97, requiring an additional 1,022.64 square feet to provide additional paved section on Louise St. for homeowner access. The roadway frontage at this property consists of limerock, gravel and some asphalt. The additional work is the same as the existing Koehn project scope including clear and grub, rework limerock base, 2" asphalt, and bedding stone to tie in existing gravel driveway connections. (Plan Sheet 48 attached). This change order represents the construction costs for additional quantities of existing bid items and was approved by the FOR Baxter&Woodman and the CEI HDR, Inc.
