ITEM BACKGROUND: The County received notice in early January of 2022 that Ryan Matthews of Peebles, Smith & Matthews (PS&M) joined the firm of Gray Robinson and that PS&M was merging with Gray Robinson. This Amendment and Consent to Assign Agreement will assign all contract services, rights, titles, and interest in the original agreement to Gray Robinson only and will remove PS&M from the Agreement. This will be retroactively effective to January 1, 2022. The County continues to require representation/lobbying/advocacy in the legislative and executive branches of State government. There is no change in compensation terms. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: On September 15, 2021, BOCC approved new annual agreement for Consulting Services with Peebles, Smith & Matthews, and Gray Robinson for one year from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022 On October 21, 2020, BOCC approved new annual agreement for Consulting Services with Peebles, Smith & Matthews, and Gray Robinson for one year from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021.
