The original contract was for minor structural revisions, painting of existing steel. structural member and new siding and roof panels. After the space was vacated by the end user and vast quantities of materials having been moved a subsequent inspection by the Contractor revealed thol the conditions addressed in the contract drawing were significant enough that a structural revision was needed. The difference between the original approach and the revised approach as detailed in the revision plans does not allow for a side -by -side comparison for credits and adds. Credits are based upon the approved schedule of values provided based on the original scope of work which include overhead and profit at a bid rate with higher Overhead and Profit than the allowed change order rate. Work on the woodshed and the metal building should have proceeded simultaneously. PFC was directed to proceed with the wooden shed portion, and which used the general conditions and supervision slated to be used during the course of construction for both building sections. General conditions and supervision are therefore a part of the added work in this change order.
