RE: HSB Appointment
Dear David:
RECEIVED JAN 1" 2012
January 2012 marked my 22'd year with Health Management Associates. I have decided to
remain with Health Management and have recently accepted a full-time offer to manage our St.
Cloud Regional Medical Center in St. Cloud, Florida.
It is with a heavy heart that I must resign from the HSB Board. As much as I would like to
remain on the Board, I believe the community deserves a representative that lives in the Keys
dull time. I have done my best to ensure that all organizations were treated fairly and the needs
of our community were met.
I truly lave the Keys and the people that call the Keys their home. I will not be cutting my ties to
the Keys and hope to return some day and eventually retire there. Please give trey best to my
fellow board members and encourage them to keep up the good work. I truly enjoyed working
with each of them.
I have sincerely appreciated your confidence in appointing nee to the HSA.B board. If I can ever
be of service to you and our Keys, please do not hesitate to call. My email and cell phone
number will remain the same.
Sincer lyow : .,, RL,
Kim Bassett
