He started his career with the District in 2001 as Director of the Orlando Service Center. Prior to joining the District he was a Senior Project Manager with Walt Disney Imagineering where he led environmental planning and permitting efforts for the Walt Disney World Resort and Town of Celebration. His 3 8-year career also includes service as Vice President of Planning Services for a major Florida planning and engineering consulting firm, Director of Planning for one of South Florida's largest homebuilders, and Assistant Director of the South Florida Regional Planning Council. Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the University of Michigan, a Master's in Regional Planning from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources, and a MBA from Nova -Southeastern University.
