We are requesting approval for the running of the 4" Annual Key Largo Bridge Run on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 5:15am-10:45am. The proceeds from this race will again go to local charitable organizations. Over the past 3 years Key Largo Bridge Run has raised $48,000 for very worthy local causes. We will be acquiring all the necessary permits, insurances and certificates which will be provided to you upon request at the completion of receipt. We would like to take a moment to thank you for voting to waive the toll fees at Card Sound Bridge. It was a great idea proposed by the BOCC and helped to keep the commuters happy. If possible, we would like to request to have the tolls waived again for this year's event. Key Largo Baptist Church would also like to especially thank Commissioner Sylvia Murphy for being such big supporter of our event. Every year she has been there to cheer on the runners and hand out the awards. We are anxious to hear from you following the outcome of your next meeting so we can proceed with planning this year's running event. Please acknowledge the approval of the Key Largo Bridge Run by the commission by email to klbcofficegbellsouth.net. Please send to me the approval and/or link where I can print it out. Thank you, Mayor and Commissioners, in advance, for your time, consideration and continued support for this fine local event to benefit our community.
