Five have reached out to get more input on climate action planning. • Alicia worked with the Southeast Florida Climate Compact on a grant proposal to help 0 under-resourced communities develop climate action plans. � • Alicia taught two senior group classes on financial literacy, and money matters topics. 21 The Environmental Horticulture Agent accomplished the following activities: • Master Gardener Volunteers led students from the Big Pine Key Library children's 0 program in a propagation lesson using pea shoots and read the book"Oh Say You Can 2 Seed?" A Cat in the Hat Learning Book. Pea shoots are quick growing greens that are high in vitamins and minerals. Card Sound Bridge Project Development& Environment Project: • Staff met with FDOT Planning and Environmental staff to determine steps to begin PD&E phase for eventual replacement of Card Sound Bridge. • A task order for a lifecycle cost analysis to support replacement of the bridge is on the June agenda for approval. • Staff and county lobbyists submitted an appropriations request for a portion of the PD&E costs. Duval,Whitehead, and Front Street Roadway Improvement ILA w/City of Key West: • Utility work is ongoing. • Additional work to be added to scope on Eaton Street, due to FKAA need to replace waterline.
