ITEM BACKGROUND: This item is to amend the contract to extend the time to June 24, 2023 and to add services for grant application assistance for roads elevation applications under the Resilient Florida grant program. The consultant will prepare up to 15 applications for the Resilient Florida program 2022 grant cycle for capital projects. The consultant shall also update the Resilient Florida project area grant scoring summary table produced from the Roadway Vulnerability Study vulnerability and criticality assessment. The Adaptation Plan, among other information, shall be factored in based on the flooding vulnerability sensitivity of the areas and the grant evaluation criteria. In addition, the Project Study Conceptual Designs and information regarding existing conditions and projected water levels has been unloaded on to the Project website (www.keysroadsplan.com). HDR and its sub consultants will manage the questions and requests for additional information. All questions and requests will be documented and provided to the County.
