Item Background: Florida Statutes section 380.0663 requires the Land Authority Governing Board to
select a Chairman and Vice Chairman on an annual basis. Each commissioner is eligible to serve as
Chairman or Vice Chairman and the statute does not limit the number of terms a commissioner may
hold either position.
