Based on information provided by Jacobs, the project will include three (3)asphalt cores for Runway 9- 27, at Kew West International Airport(EYW), Florida. PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK The Core locations will be marked in the field based on locations provided by Jacobs. Prior to drilling at the project site,TSFGEO will notify the local utility companies and request that underground utilities be marked. Our experience, however, is that the utility companies will not mark privately owned utilities. Private utilities and airside utilities will be the Airport's responsibility. We suggest that utilities within the airport be cleared by a specialty utility locator. TSFGEO will recommend a utility line locating service upon request. We understand that the work will be performed on the airside, and Jacobs will escort TSFGEO personnel and drill rig to and from the test location. Upon completion of the field exploration, laboratory testing will be performed on selected samples. A report will be issued that contains the exploration data, laboratory data and water table. ESTIMATED FEES It is proposed that the fee for the performance of the services outlined above is determined on a lump sum basis and that the work be performed pursuant to TSFGEO's General Conditions enclosed herewith and incorporated into this proposal. On the basis of the proposed quantities, our lump sum fee will be$8,652.50 2765 Vista Parkway,Suite 10*West IPahn Beach,Hod&33411 561-687-8536 State ofFlorida Professional ERyineers License#28073 Jacobs TSFGEO Proposal:2204-249 Page 2 Our estimate covers the work needed to present the results. Not included are reviews of drawings, preparation of construction specifications, special conferences and any other work requested after submittal of our report. SCHEDULE AND AUTHORIZATION TSFGEO will proceed with the work after receipt of a signed copy of this proposal.
