A RESOLUTION OF THE MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS TRANSMITTING TO THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR REVIEW
AND COMMENT A REQUEST BY DAVID ETHRIDGE TO
CHANGE THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MONROE
COUNTY YEAR 2010 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FROM

WHEREAS, the Monroe County Board of Commissioners held a
public hearing for the purpose of considering the transmittal to
~ge Florida Department of Community Affairs for review and com-
ment Cl,: proposed amendment to the Future Land Use Map for the
~ope~t(y.~ located at 2111 Overseas Highway, Marathon, and de-
'Scribea 'as a part of Government Lot 2, Section 9, Township 66
South, Range 32 East, Vaca Key, Mile Marker 48, Monroe County,
Florida, having the real estate number 00102520; and
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Planning Commission, sitting as
the local planning agency, after due notice and public participa-
tion in the public hearing process, has recommended approval of
the proposed Future Land Use Map amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS THAT:
Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners does hereby adopt
the recommendations of the Planning Commission pursuant to the
draft ordinance for adoption of the proposed Future Land Use Map
amendment; and
Section 2. The Board of County Commissioners does hereby trans-
mit the proposed amendment as part of the first (1st) set of
comprehensive plan amendments for 1997 to the Florida Department
of Community Affairs for review and comment in accordance with
the provisions of Chapter 163.3184, Florida Statutes; and
Section 3. The Monroe County staff is given authority to pre-
pare and submit the required transmittal letter and supporting
documents for the proposed amendment in accordance with the re-
quirements of 9J-11.006 of the Florida Administrative Code; and
Section 4. The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to for-
ward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Director of Plan-
ning.
