(MJ) was previously contracted to provide architectural and engineering professional services for the renovation of the Customs and Border Protection Facilities at Key West International Airport (EYW). Due to funding limitation, the design was split into multiple bid g' U) packages. "Construction — Phase 2" temporarily relocated Primary and Secondary screening to the west side of the building. As part of the Phase 3A scope, the primary processing area constructed in Phase 2 would be demolished to convert this space to the new public restrooms, and the temporary public restrooms located in secondary will become secure hold-rooms. The "Construction - Phase 3A" scope would also include the new baggage handling system and the northern "bump-out' of the building. The Bid Package for Phase 3A was completed in September 2021 but was never issued for bid. The Concourse A Terminal Expansion will impede direct CBP access to the new Concourse A. Access must be provided through a new sterile corridor connection to the CBP building. The location/configuration of the connection between the Concourse and CBP building will impact the location of the BHS/queuing areas. Thus, the internal layout of the CBP facility will need to be Page 1 of 3 Packet Pg. 3017 L.5.a revised to adjust the airside access point, location of Baggage Handling System (BHS) equipment, and configuration of queuing and processing areas. In addition, the location of the aircraft sterile box will need to be moved and evaluated. a II STAIR r14 5" 3f 9 DDN M ,had area oa clue _ xsa route at grade L3 r ' rl Ent4viaramp exterior Nominal gra 8'char belov" Grro.grade} Mated apt of wm wawatia,sm plx.nSt.{,p4r r , ° N l J wnuaxnr CT_JO JO JO '01 `T_ i FED LDG a Br 0i ana of a,xa CN C'e!
