Resolution 214-2003 COUlmbsloDer Charlet McCoy RESOLUTION NO. 214 2003 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FL RECOGNIZJNG THI: NEED FOR THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE TO ESTABLISH A STABLE SERVICE AND ~ STABLE STAFFING LEVEL IN KEY WEST ANDTBE KEYS. WHEREAS, the Florida Keys is one hundred and t\\enty miles of linear county; and WHEREAS, Key W~'t, as is most of the Keys, quiu: remote from other urban areas and is subject to large service fluctuations in it's towist oriented enviromnc:nt; and WHEREAS, cyclical needs have a1fected the level of postal service,that cannot be compensated . I.' for by automation or proximity to the malnJand; and 1,.
