RESOLUTION NO. 74B - 1999
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COMMITTING MONROE COUNTY'S BEST EFFORTS TO THE MONROE
COUNTY AFFORDABLE HOUSING TASK FORCE; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Monroe County's State Legislators have selected a task force to study the
affordable housing crisis throughout the County; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the County's best efforts are hereby committed to the Monroe
County Affordable Housing Task Force through the availability of the County Administrator,
Executive Director of the Land Authority, and other appropriate Staff to serve on the Task
Force and its subcommittees.
Section 2. That the Task Force is hereby requested to submit its recommendations to
the County Commission for approval prior to transmission to the State legislature.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall go into effect immediately,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 11th day of February, 1999.
