RESOLUTION NO. 259-1997
DESIGNATION OF THE COUNTY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AS THE COUNTY'S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
PURSUANT TO THE U.S. HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 AS AMENDED, REFERENCE
THE PARTICIPATION IN THE STATE'S SMALL CITIES,
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the County Commission has previously designated the County
Comprehensive Plan, adopted pursuant to Chapter 163, F.S. a~ the Comm~
Development Plan under the State's Small Cities, Community Dyel~me1d BliCk
Grant Program in previous CDBG grant applications; and ~~ ~ ~ ~

WHEREAS, the County's Comprehensive Plan identifies commti~c~evii>pm~t

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commi~ioners
of Monroe County that:
1. The County's Comprehensive Plan is hereby formally designated as the
County's Community Development Plan in compliance with Rule 9B-43, Florida
Administrative Code, Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant
Program.
2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption by the
Commission and execution by the Presiding Officer and Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 16th
day of July , A.D. 1997.
